Newburgh School has been classed as "Outstanding" in recent inspections.

Published: 25 June 2024

Newburgh C.E. Primary School was recently judged to be Outstanding by Ofsted.  In addition, the SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) Report also recently judged the school to be ‘living up to its foundation as a church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish’.

Rebecca Fowler, Headteacher at Newburgh School, commented;

“These judgements are exceptional and deliberately difficult to obtain and we are justifiably proud of the whole team at Newburgh.  I wanted to write to you personally to give thanks for your support in helping our children at Newburgh to thrive emotionally, academically and spiritually. The result of these inspections has truly been a team effort from the staff to our parents to our wonderful community here in Newburgh.”
