Douglas Valley Lions Fundraising Event 13 September 2024

Following on from our very successful winter fundraising event held in February at Newburgh Sports Club, Douglas Valley Lions Club offers a similar event to see out summer 2024 with an evening of nostalgic music from the 60s and 70s, to bring back happy memories and which still inspires the younger generations.

The event will take place at Newburgh Sports Club on Friday 13th September with music once again provided by the excellent well-known retro band of Rodgers Codgers. In addition we are proud to welcome local singer/songwriter Katie Belle to bring a younger element to the evening. Tickets are priced at a bargain £20 which includes BBQ fodder. Doors open at 6.30pm with proceedings starting at 7.30pm , the bar will be available until 11pm.

All proceeds will be used to enable DVLC to continue to provide support to groups and individuals in the local and wider communities, support which we all know is desperately needed in these difficult times.
