Your views are sought for West Lancashire Borough Council Draft Housing Strategy 2024-2029
The draft strategy sets out priorities to meet current and future housing needs and challenges in the Borough.
Tenants, residents, businesses and organisations are invited to share their views and the primary objective is to improve the housing offer and housing circumstances of residents.
The intention is that the strategy will contribute to improving housing circumstances for residents by guiding the work of the council and its partners on housing issues, either directly, or by being considered as other plans and strategies are developed.
You can share your feedback with the Borough Council before March 25, 2024, via the online consultation portal Your Voice West Lancashire.
Your feedback will help shape the final version of the strategy, which will be published later this year.
PLEASE NOTE: The draft Housing Strategy is independent of the Local Plan, which concentrates on the Borough’s long-term development. The Local Plan’s land-use policies adhere to the expectations of the National Planning Policy Framework.
